Lunin earned our respect and admiration this season. He stepped up when the team needed him most, and many fans, myself included, will feel it’s unfair for him to return to the bench so soon. If he leaves, it will be with pride — as a player who delivered under pressure and kept the Madrid goal safe with class and courage.
